CIS 145
Module 7 Summary
Module 7 mainly went over concepts I’ve been familiar with since I was younger, like 4G and 5G speeds and MAC address filtering. But I did learn that your device can be attacked through Bluetooth, which was surprising since I hadn’t come across that before. It was interesting to learn about threats like evil twin attacks and man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks, which add another layer to understanding network vulnerabilities and just how far they span. Overall, there weren’t too many new takeaways for me since I already knew most of the concepts covered. Honestly this was probably the module where I felt the most knowledgeable.
