Module 9 Summary
Module 9 focused on e-commerce, diving into different types and how they work. I learned about the four main categories: B2B, B2C, C2C, and C2B. Business-to-Business (B2B) is the largest sector, involving companies selling to other businesses, while Business-to-Consumer (B2C) is what we usually see when shopping online, like on Amazon. I also found it interesting to see how digital wallets, like PayPal, play a role in making online payments more secure by storing encrypted payment info. Another point that stood out to me was the concept of disintermediation, where e-commerce replaces traditional middlemen, like travel agents, with online platforms. It makes sense how this could change entire industries. Overall, the module highlighted how the digital landscape has transformed shopping, selling, and even global interactions.
